Leoni Meadows Summer Camp, a beautiful retreat center in the Sierra Mountains, is located in Grizzly Flats just outside of Sacramento. It is about two hours away from South Lake Tahoe. Leoni Meadows is owned and operated by the Northern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
Leoni Meadows was a dairy and truck gardening ranch homesteaded by the Leoni family in the late 1800s. The Northern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists purchased the property in 1975 to replace leased facilities at Pinecrest, thus facilitating development of a conference retreat center and summer camp.
